A quicky here.
I have been asked, several times, to explain how I managed to get a 10 forecast from Weather.com
It is in the feed!
Typically you will find the following for Weather.com:
Url=http://xoap.weather.com/weather/local/#dest#?cc=*&unit=#SCALE#&dayf=6
This will give you today's forecast and 5 additional days, for a six day forecast.
Ok to get a current plus 9 day forecast for your skin, you must tell the feed how many days you want.
Weather.com's feed supports up to 10 days, including current.
So how do I do this?
Let's look at the IP Address again
Url=http://xoap.weather.com/weather/local/#dest#?cc=*&unit=#SCALE#&dayf=6
The part in red identifies the number of days the feed will give.
So for the full 10 days, we must change the end term to apply for as many days as I want. In my case I want all 10 days so I shall change the feed value from 6 to 10
The URL will now look like this:
Url=http://xoap.weather.com/weather/local/#dest#?cc=*&unit=#SCALE#&dayf=10
With the area in blue reflecting the number of days the feed will retrieve from Weather.com
Now you can parse the needed information, build your index for a current and 9 day forecast, and create your skin
With out this change, a long term forecast will not be possible.
I do hope this explains clearly, how I am retrieving a 10 day forecast

Re: Extend Weather.com forecast for your skin
Apologies for the late response...The holiday season is very Chaotic for me.
I am in the process of revamping this skin so that it will be %100 compliant with Weather.com's requirements, but weather beyond 5 days is no longer immediately available from Weather.com
