It's my usual mash-up/combination of skins and ideas (LEDs/Volume Knob/Neon Clock) that I struggle to implement, except I'm not struggling.
I'm playing with a skin concept where I totally avoid using graphics software which I find the hardest thing to do most often, and I finally think I have reached a point where I know enough to do it entirely using Rainmeter. I now have the first meter up and functioning as a template to evolve from here. What you are looking at is the first pass that I have been happy with...

next I want to look at toggling the displays using some buttons and something along the same lines to work with it in a modular fashion. I'll be playing with it over the weekend. I'd be interested in any suggestions and pointers people may have.

Looks very neat and techie. If you can live without a proper 'shuffle' symbol you could always use the Webdings font for your buttons to maintain the no-graphics purist approach.
That's a clever way , shame the font doesn't quite tick all the boxes. I'll have a root around the net and see if something plugs the gaps. I'll been adding meters and tinkering with the layout most of the morning. Currently looking like this...

The font file is only 17kb! more importantly for this skin it was more about me not using image files to generate the look, just Rainmeter's native abilities. Part of it is just me trying to see how far I can take the idea tbh
I am going to tart the player up a bit more before generating the next skin, and replace the main font...
