Version 2 coming soon. Previews can be found at page 7/8 of this thread ;=====Old post===== Hey, this is Tabmeter, my first public skin/suite. Here some screenshots: -The heart of the Suite. A tabbar for the left side of your screen. [hsimg]http://www.rainmeter.net/forum/download/file.php?id=1294&mode=view/Preview.jpg[/hsimg] -A nice little topbar, that features all important information at the top or bottom of your desktop. [hsimg]http://www.rainmeter.net/forum/download/file.php?id=1295&mode=view/Preview2.jpg[/hsimg] -An animated and tabbed programs launcher. [hsimg]http://www.rainmeter.net/forum/download/file.php?id=1315&mode=view/Preview3.jpg[/hsimg] -A little .ini that displays the size of three folders. It also launches the folder. [hsimg]http://www.rainmeter.net/forum/download/file.php?id=1316[/hsimg] -And finally, here you can see the Tabmeter-Suite in Action. The bottom-bar is made with litestep. [hsimg]http://www.rainmeter.net/forum/download/file.php?id=1317&mode=view/Preview5.jpg[/hsimg] Here´s a screenshot of the whole Tabmeter-Suite as it maybe comes in the end. Using Rainmeter, Litestep and Truetransparency to do this. Important: Look at this screenshot at it´s full resolution. Otherwise the background looks very weird. [hsimg]http://www.rainmeter.net/forum/download/file.php?id=1321&mode=view/TabmeterDesktop.jpg[/hsimg] I hope you´re having fun with it. All needed information about license, credits and that stuff, is in the first screenshot, or in the Readme-File that comes with the skin. The wallpaper, used for the screenshots is "Aker" by Kobhen. Take a look at the author´s page: kobhen.deviantart.com Edit: I forgot something. To use the icons you need the FileListPlugin made by elestel. Here you go: http://www.mirimo.org/project-filelistplugin.html Hmm, for some reason (I probably have made something wrong

This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you for sharing! Can't wait to personalize it tomorrow when I have time. It seems I'm missing a file though - when I went to open the icons, it said the FileListPlugin.dll was not found - any idea where to get that from? Excellent work, nice and subtle, but totally functional! |

You can get FileListPlugin HERE on the forums. It's pretty nice. I wish I had time now to test it out properly. For now, just know that you've got a |

Thanks for the replies I noticed a "bug" in the topbar. The day of the week was display a bit too much right. I just changed the X-Value a bit. I also made a little change on the Pause/Play button for iTunes. It now doesn´t stay highlighted if you move your mouse away for the topbar. Have fun Edit: OUTDATED New Version (0.6) includes fix plus also hides the highlighted button after pressing...

Well I took a closer look and the code is pretty solid. The only weird thing I could see was this: Code: [MeasureDay] You have "Format=" in there twice. Rainmeter will only read one of them. This is also in [MeasureMonth]. Measure=Time Format=%A Format=%a Substitute="Mon":"Mon","Tue":"Tue","Wed":"Wed","Thu":"Thu","Fri":"Fri","Sat":"Sat","Sun":"Sun" Also that Substitute doesn't do anything, but I'll assume that it's just a placeholder to make localization simpler |

I don´t know why I included this ... probably, some code I wanted to use and forgot. Or it is one of those things I just copied from another skin, because I was too lazy to do it on my own. Will fix it. Thanks. (btw: it´s also in the topbar) |
