Rainmeter uses all CPU

Post by Namor71 »

Hi,
at first I'm sorry for my bad english because it is not my mother tongue.
I'm having a big problem with rainmeter since today. When I start my pc rainmeter uses about all my CPU speed which makes my PC unusable. I didn't change anything at my rainmeter since Version 2.0 released. I've tried to reinstall Rainmeter in safe mode but this didn't work either so I had to uninstall it. But as I like rainmeter really mutch and usually wouldn't want to miss it I'm hoping for fast help as my desktop now only consists of a Wallpaper :( .
If you need anymore information please let me know.

I would recommend unloading skins one at a time until you find the one that is tearing up your CPU, and then stop using it. Rainmeter in and of itself uses almost no CPU.

Is there a way to do this through a config file or something? I don't belive it's possible to start the rainbrowser while my pc isn't reacting anymore.

Edit: Oh just found out it is possible :D I will try thanks.
