TY for your help i really appreciate it!
as far as the cpu i got it to tell me the temp by installing Core Temp and i have speed fan too installed the thing now is that im on a quad core i7 how can i get it to show all cores instead of just one on my mass effect skin?

Normaly it should show all cores (if I'm not wrong, up to 4 cores!). Read my previouse post, try to follow what I wrote there and let me know what happend.

think i got it its suppose to look like this right?

Yes, the four roundlines show the four cores. How many cores your processor has?

4 cores but its set to 8 cores in my system configuration utility my specs are as follows,

And now it's ok? If I'm not wrong, now you can see all four cores.

Better if you open "Task Manager" and go to see in "Performance" how many CPU graphics you have.
I7 Processors can use Hypertreading and double your physical cores.
