A tsunami warning is also in effect for numerous Pacific islands and parts of the American-Canadian west coast. (They're not expecting damage this far from the source, but if you're in the affected areas, please take it seriously.)

I and my family are OK.
However, in devastated area, aftershocks have followed very often. I hope disaster victims are OK.
